About Us
Here at Dixon Baptist Church, we strive to offer a different
experience of a family journey. We never ask “are we there yet”
because we have a clear vision of our destination – Jesus. It is that
simple. We want to become more like Jesus and we know we are not there
yet. But we are getting closer.
We are also convinced that our journey is both meaningful and joyful.
What we do matters both here and now and thereafter. So we work
together with a passionate purpose and we do it with joy. Yes, we have
fun as a church. We laugh together. We learn as a group and as
individuals from God’s Word. We lean on His power through prayer as we
follow Jesus.
While we are not perfect, we do love one another and we perceive our
unity as a precious commodity that we are unwilling to trade for our
individual, personal preferences. As a result, we have chosen to
celebrate in worship with a variety of musical styles. Our single aim
is to please Jesus.
