Women’s Ministry
The Women’s Ministry of Dixon Baptist Church is committed to challenging women to become all God wants them to be. We purpose to meet the spiritual, physical and emotional needs of the women in our fellowship and in our community. Through Bible studies, ministry events, retreats, prayer groups, and other events we hope to encourage women to grow in their faith in Christ, develop and strengthen intimate friendships with other women, and to provide opportunities to serve and reach our families, friends, and acquaintances for Christ.
It is our desire to follow the Lord’s leadership in nurturing and discipling women to walk with God. We hope to encourage women to walk with the Lord by the power of His spirit through an intimate, personal relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ. Our prayer for our women is for each of us and our families to love God more and to increase in the knowledge of Him while touching the lives of those around us.
Opportunities are available for women of all ages to serve, grow, and fellowship. Some of our activities include small group Bible studies, prayer groups, retreats, an annual Shopping Extravaganza in the fall, monthly fellowships, and participation in other church-wide activities.
